Here are a few questions that’ll help you decide whether you have what it takes or not. Be honest. You’re only lying to yourself anyway 🙂
#1. Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?
While any of the answers is great it is generally a good idea to start building your own business when you actually have a plan.
#2. Have you given any thought to what you are going to do?
As a rule of thumb it’s recommended that you don’t start wasting money and time on stuff “just in case it works”.
#3. How much time do you intend to allocate to your project?
Although we’d all like that, a new project will probably fail if you don’t fully commit to it.
#4. How do you deal with failure?
When you start your own business, there’s only 1 thing that’s guaranteed. You’ll fail over and over and over again. The trick to it is to be resilient enough to succeed.
#5. How do you feel about compromises?
Compromises are a part of our everyday life aren’t they? Don’t sell your soul to the devil though. A bit of decency never hurt anyone.
#6. How much time are you willing to commit to a project until you decide it's not worth it?
Most projects take off within a few years. If you think you can make it by tomorrow… You’re delusional.
It’s also not a good idea to wait your whole life for something that might never happen.
